What to do with Words Award - March 3, 2007

Today, Saturday, March 3rd, the "What to do with Words Award" goes to Rebecca L. Hurst -- for this humble and moving passage in her poem, "Moment by Moment."

Rebecca and Sean Madden are based in the U.K., and they are the authors of The Mindful Living Guide blog.

It rained,
and I watched the rain.
A squirrel raided the bird-feeder.
My daughter and I had tea
together. -- from "Moment by Moment" by Rebecca L. Hurst @ The Mindful Living Guide

Thank you, Don, for the attention you generously pay to the writing I've put out on the Mindful Living blog, and also for the What to do with Words Award. I'm a little overwhelmed to be receiving the award within the same week as Henry David! As you make note, H.D. says it all perfectly in just five beautiful words ... a great mindful writer and a true friend.
